POW ARTIST STUDIOS

significance:

'Studio POW' provides four new essential affordable artist studio spaces within the EX2 Warehouse in Park Royal as commissioned by POW Workshops.

These spaces will support low wage artists who are working within the creative and circular economy sector.

The studios feature the first built example of the 'waste larsen truss' made from OSB offcuts and 2x2 timber. The walls are insulated using waste denim insulation.

This build used common materials found in film sets including theatre flats, OSB offcuts and lumber.
